I love Stephen Hawking! There is so much to know and understand about the universe, about the world we live in, and even about ourselves. Science shows like that are really cool and I still watch them all the time.
Have you heard of Brian Cox? You might like his stuff too. He used to be a popstar (in the UK) and now he is a physics professor! He has a TV show called “Wonders of the Solar System” which is totally awesome. It was on TV earlier this year and I think you can get it on DvD… So if you like Stephen Hawking you might want to check out Brian Cox too!

I love Stephen Hawking! I did watch a few episodes of that show. I love anything to do with space, I wanted to be an astronomer once, and though I didn’t pursue it at uni I still try to watch anything to do with space and cosmology. As Krystal said, Professor Brian Cox also had a TV show on space earlier this year. But my all time favourite is Carl Sagan. He died many years ago now, but he made an amazing TV series called Cosmos (and a book as well) in the 1980s. I watched it when I was 12 and I still remember whole chunks of it. He was great at explaining difficult ideas like quantum physics and he was once of the best science writers ever. Here’s his view of the universe, which I think is true:
You can still get Cosmos on DVD.It’s really aged – but the words are still true.
I also love learning about our planet and life on it, so love to watch every documentary Sir David Attenborough makes. I even met him once, when I was 16!
