Question: what is you most terrifying experience ever in your whole life?

  1. I love rollercoasters! I find them totally terrifying, but absolutely awesome. When I lived in the UK, I went to this massive themepark called “Alton Towers” and went on this ride called “Oblivion” and it was brilliant! And totally scary too.

  2. Two things. One was on the “Ali Baba” ride at the Royal Melbourne Show. It nearly turned upside down. It was huge fun and totally terrifying at the same time. My brother was too scared to go on it, so I also found that bit fun 😉

But the other most terrifying thing was something that happened when I lived for a short while in Sri Lanka. We climbed this massive rock called Sigiriya which an ancient king had once turned into a palace, hundreds of years ago (you can read about it here: http://tiny.cc/is6qs, Wikipedia) . There were ramps and steps half way up, that led to a kind of garden. From there, only way to get to the top was to use tiny steps cut into the rock with one little bit of railing to hold onto. Climbing that was terrifying! Worse, there were huge hornets nests around. As we were coming down, some one further below lit up a cigarette. The smoke disturbed the hornets and they started to swarm to us as we tried to get down those steps! In that moment, I totally forgot my fear of heights, how small the steps were and RAN! I did get stung, but I was fine in the end. They were huge, though!
