Discovering things often takes a long time, lots of long hours in the lab getting the experiments right and getting them to work.Then,when your hypothesis turns out to be a right, you kind of realise that you are the first – or one of the first – people to ever find out this new fact. It’s awesome.
I don’t’ get tired of it. Usually it happens after spending lots of time reading, thinking and doing experiments. So to have your ideas come together, your experiments work and discover something that no-one else knows is a fantastic feeling.
It’s amazing!
