Question: What magnification do your microscopes go down to?

  1. 1000x magnification, or if we use electron microscopes, even more!

  2. Did you know that there are many kinds of microscopes? Some use light to look at small structures. They can go up to about 1000x times magnification. Electron microscopes use electrons as a way of looking at tiny structures: they can go all way to 100,000 x magnification! I’ve used electron microcsopes and they are very cool: you can even see protein fibres with them.

  3. My microscopes are only about 200x magnification. I don’t need to look at the things that Tara and Upulie look at. I just need to be able to see what I am doing when I am building very small electrical circuits.
