I did not know that any one was trying to make bombs from francium. It is a very rare element and while it gets used for experiments I don’t think it has any commercial applications.
That said bombs are designed to kill and injure people. Whether or not you die would depend upon the size of the bomb, but if the bomb is doing it’s job then you would be dead or seriously injured.
