Question: how do you grow human skin in a test tube, is it actually like real human skin, I have never actually heard of growing human skin in a test tube before,

    Well, the answer to your question is YES and NO.

    Yes it is like real skin because it comes from living cells from a patient, and forms the different layers of skin such as the dermis and epidermis. It also behaves as skin cells would if they were in your body, particularly when exposed to sunlight.

    However, it is not completely like human skin because it lacks a blood supply (nutrients are provided to cells in a solution known as cell culture media) and also it lacks nerves and hair!
